Policies/Statements


PAYMENT:

You can pay for your purchases either by credit or debit card or cheque ( cheques must be cleared before despatch usually 7/10 days).The details of your card number will be securely encrypted before they are transmitted over the internet or stored on our computers. This makes your card details undecipherable by anyone except us and as soon as the order is processed the card details will be deleted from the computer records. We will not debit your card till goods are despatched.


TITLE TO GOODS:

We (the retailer) full title to all goods supplied until paid for in full - in the case of insolvency of the customer we (the retailer) retain the right to reclaim goods for which full payment has not been made.


VAT:

Prices are shown including VAT except for books and music which are Zero rated for Vat in the UK, most other items are rated at 15%.


DELIVERY AND CARRIAGE:

We will deliver your goods within a few days if available from stock and normally one week if not. If we are unable to deliver within this period we will contact you and advise of amended delivery time.


PRICES:

The prices shown are for orders placed over the Internet and include delivery costs (this only applies to deliveries to the mainland UK) and VAT. The exception to this rule is for items (individually specified) where carriage is extra and Rental instruments or Acoustic Pianos (whereupon a carriage charge will apply). In case of a pricing error being made by our mistake or by data sent to us from a Manufacturer and the item costing more than anticipated we will check with you by e-mail before processing your order.


RETURNS, DAMAGE IN TRANSIT AND CANCELLATIONS

The customer has a right to cancel an order for items purchased from this website by telephone or fax. This does not apply to items personalised or made to a specific configuration.


PLEASE CALL US BEFORE RETURNING ANY GOODS.

CUSTOMER RETURNS GENERAL: Products may be returned for a full refund within 14 days of delivery providing they have not been used, are in new condition and include all original packaging. However we (the vendor) will deduct from any refund the cost of the initial delivery, even if this cost was not originally charged to the customer, and the cost of collecting (if this is the case) the item to be refunded from the customer. Refunds cannot be made for items damaged while in the posession of the customer.


RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS IF THE GOODS YOU RECEIVE ARE FAULTY :

All products carry a 1 year warranty unless otherwise stated. If items become defective within 30 days of purchase then the vendor will arrange collection of the product, and arrange delivery of a replacement product back to the purchaser at the vendors cost. If an item becomes defective later than eight days from receiving delivery, but less than 30 days from receiving delivery, and the customer wishes to return the item for a refund rather than replacement, then the courier or postage costs for delivering and collecting the item will not be refunded. No replacement products issued will be older or in worse condition than original products returned by the purchaser. Defective products will be replaced or repaired within a reasonable timescale (maximum 30 days). Products older than one month must be returned at the purchasers cost, although the vendor does offer a warranty collection service. The vendor may arrange for defective items under warranty to be collected from the customer for a small fee to cover the collection costs. This is usually £9.99, but may be more for large or heavy items, or for collections outside of UK mainland.

Products may not be returned to the Vendor for refund later than 30 days from delivery unless the goods are defective and the vendor is unable to comply with its warranty commitment.


IF THE GOODS ARE NOT WHAT YOU ORDERED

Please return them in their original condition in the original packaging and we will either replace them with the goods you ordered or refund the cost of the goods and carriage. If you are not completely satisfied for some other reason contact us within 14 days to arrange an exchange or where applicable a full refund - however there are a few exceptions in this case as follows:- - sealed audio cd, tapes, video recordings and computer software can only be returned if they are still sealed. - for reasons of hygiene we cannot accept returns of reeds, mouthpieces, wind and brass instruments and other similar items unless returned unopened in their original packaging. - Digital pianos and electronic keyboards can normally only be returned if they have not been removed from their original packaging and assembled since assembly and disassembly makes these items very obviously "used". If you choose to return any goods you must ensure that the goods are properly packaged and sent at your cost by a secure carrier: it is your responsibility to take reasonable care that they reach us undamaged. If you do not pay the cost of the return we will deduct the cost of retreiving the goods from any refund due to you in respect of the order. We recommend you use a recorded delivery service. If a refund is due it will be expedited within 30 days.


DAMAGE IN TRANSIT TO YOU

Any claim arising from damage in transit must be made within 7days (if damage is reported outside of 7 days then we (the vendor) cannot accept responsibility) of receipt of the goods - please check the cases and contents upon receipt and before signing for them. Goods seen to be damaged should be signed "Damaged in transit" and packaging materials preserved for inspection.


NON DELIVERY OF GOODS

If the goods are not delivered to you within 3 days of the despatch date you must notify us immediately or we cannot be held responsible for the lost goods.
