There's a certain degree of snobbery about capos amongst guitar players.

Some simply refuse to use one, claiming that "proper guitarists" don't need one. However, many more *ahem* sensible players, insist that it's one of the guitarists' most invaluable tools. Indeed, I wouldn't ever go to a gig without my trusty capo, even if my set doesn't call for it. You never know when you might need to clamp on a capo and play something unexpected.

There are literally dozens and dozens of capos out there, from basic eleastic capos to the more fancy G7ths. Finding the right capo can be a real nightmare, especially for the uninitiated.

But fear no longer! The new NS Artist capo from D'addario and Planet Waves solves the age old question of "which capo is the right capo?" once and for all!

Featuring a patented tri-action geometry which reduces the force requried to open and close the capo while simultaneously maintaining an even tension, regardless of the neck profile of your guitar. The most special feature of this little beauty, however, is the micrometer tension adjustment system which enables the player a greater control over the general use and sound of the capo. This feature, along with the trigger style release makes this capo an absolute joy to use.

The capo itself is made from aircraft-grade aluminium and features an integrated pick holder. As if that weren't enough, D'addario have even gone one better and added a mounting bracket for the NS Micro Tuner (tuner not included). Finished in matte black, this tuner is certainly sleek, professional and affordable.

At only 17.99 (with FREE postage!) this capo would be a valuable asset to any guitarist's arsenal.
